Clarity measures inclusions inside the stone. The GIA scale runs from Flawless down through increasingly visible inclusions. Every StudsDirect pair is VVS1 or above.
VVS1 — Very Very Slightly Included 1. Inclusions are invisible under 10x magnification. This is the highest practical clarity grade for jewelry. At larger carat weights, the difference between VVS1 and lower grades like VS2 or SI1 becomes more apparent.
D-E color — The top two grades on the GIA color scale. Completely colorless. No yellow or brown tint at any carat weight.
IGI certification — Each stone is graded by the International Gemological Institute, one of the world's largest independent gemological laboratories. The certificate confirms clarity, color, cut, and carat weight.
