Venice Interactive is the DBA (doing business as) name of Venice Partners & Enterprises LLC, a New York-registered company operating in the lab-grown diamond supply chain since 2006.
We started as a procurement operation — sourcing stones from SEEPZ (Mumbai's diamond manufacturing and trading special economic zone) for jewelry brands and wholesalers. In 2019, we launched StudsDirect to sell directly to consumers, cutting out the wholesale and retail margins that typically add 150–300% to a diamond's original cost.
Today, every stone we sell is IGI-certified, D-E color or better, and VVS1 clarity or better. We source from the same Surat and Mumbai cutting facilities that supply the world's leading lab-grown diamond brands — and we pass the cost savings directly to you.
Most jewelry retailers buy from a distributor, who bought from a wholesaler, who bought from an importer, who bought from a factory. Every step adds margin. We skip all of them.
Our procurement team visits cutting facilities in Surat and Mumbai multiple times per year. We select stones directly — looking at the actual IGI certificates, examining cut quality under magnification, and negotiating prices based on what we see, not a catalog photo.
Stones are shipped to our New York facility, re-verified against their IGI certificates, and listed for sale. Each stone ships with its original IGI report number — verifiable at igi-studsdirect.com.

Lab-grown diamonds are chemically and physically identical to natural diamonds — same crystal structure, same hardness, same optical properties. The price difference exists because supply can scale with reactor capacity rather than geological scarcity. At current market prices (2026), lab-grown offers a significantly better value proposition for most buyers.
